It is a pleasure to have you come to TD Helps with your question, Yanea.
If your checking account is overdrawn at this time, if it remains in an overdrawn status for sixty days, or such earlier time that the Bank determines that the overdraft balance is noncollectable, the Bank can close it and place the account in collection status.
However, please note that TD Bank reserves the right to offset, meaning that any available funds in your other remaining accounts can be applied to your debt by TD Bank. You can read additional information about this process here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ on pages 20-21.
We encourage you to contact our Recovery Department directly at 800-354-9769 for assistance or more information about your accounts in particular. They can be reached Monday through Friday, 8 am through 9 pm and Saturday, 8 am through 5 pm for your convenience.
If you have any other questions, we're available by phone 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or any TD Bank Store found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps answer your question and take care!
