I have 2 TD Bank gift cards that I would like to use to pay bills from my checking account. Is it possible to transfer the balance on the gift cards to my account?

Welcome to the TD Helps community, Steven. We'll be happy to help clear up some confusion regarding your Gift Card.
Though you cannot transfer your TD Gift Card balance to your TD account, you may still use them in a variety of ways.
First, we recommend checking the balance of your Gift Cards. To check your TD Visa Gift Card balance, the easiest way is to register your card online. After doing so, you'll be able to log in at your convenience to check the balance.
To register your Gift Card, we invite you to visit: http://go.td.com/1dmtzim. When doing so for the first time, please note that the initial password is the three-digit security code on the signature panel on the back of your card. Once you create your account, we encourage you to change your password after signing in for the first time. Feel free to check out: here http://go.td.com/1cIdAj6 to read our Frequently Asked Questions.
You may also register your Gift Card by dialing (888) 294-2249 to speak with a Visa Specialist available 24/7. If you continue to experience an issue, please give one of our TD Banking Specialist a ring 24/7 at 888-751-9000, and we'll be happy to connect you.
After you check your balance of your Gift Cards and register them, you may use them anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide! Simply swipe your Gift Card at the register as if a credit or debit card and you're set!
We are always here to help, Steven. Please feel free to reach out to us with any other questions.
