Hi Jeanette! Thanks for reaching out to us.
We can understand why these transactions might cause some confusion. This type of authorization is usually done as verification that an account is open and active prior to putting through the final dollar amount. If you've recently made a purchase with this company, you should see the correct dollar amount in your account history once the item posts to your account.
If you have not made any recent purchases with this company, we ask that you monitor your account. If they post for any dollar amount, we should be able to assist you with filing a dispute. Regardless of how these authorizations were made, using your debit card or your account number, we have steps we can take to protect your account. As TD Helps is considered an unsecure forum, we do not have access to specific account information. Please give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at a local TD Bank Store so that we can review these transactions and take any necessary measures to protect your funds. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call or stop in to see us.
Take care, Jeanette!
