Thank you for your interest in banking with TD, Jack. We'd be glad to help.
We invite you to take a look at the accounts we have available. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you.
To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you've decided on an account you'd like to open, feel free to visit us at any TD Store, call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or open your account online by selecting "Open Account" beneath the product of your choosing. Please know that regardless of how you decide to open your account, you will need a valid photo I.D. handy (Driver's License, passport, State issued photo I.D., etc.).
After your account is open, you will be able to deposit the check you've mentioned. To take a look at our Funds Availability Policy to determine when this type of check will clear, please visit: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (pages 38-41). This type of check deposit may also have fees applied. To take a look at any fees that may be assessed, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We hope this helps, Jack and have a good day.
