Good morning, Deborah, and welcome to TD Helps.
It's great to hear that you're interested in joining the TD Family, and we'll be more than happy to help!
We'd first like to take a moment to go over all the accounts currently offered by TD Bank. If you were hoping to open a Checking account, please use this link here: https://go.td.com/2hbuGjJ. If a Savings account would better fit your needs, please take a look at the link here: https://go.td.com/2bSlkVn. If you're having trouble deciding, feel free to use our Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E. After answering a few simple questions, we'll make a personalized recommendation for you, based on your needs.
Once you're ready to open your account, you have a couple ways in which you may do so. The first would be to take advantage of the links above, as you are able to open your new account using our website! Simply click on the orange 'Open Account' button below the account of your choosing to start!
Another option you have would be to call and speak with a Banking Specialist. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be happy to help at 1-888-751-9000. As always, you're also able to visit a TD Store location. A Customer Service Representative will be happy to assist you with opening your new account, during lobby hours, and we invite you to use the link here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find your nearest Store location.
Once your account is open and you're ready to make your first deposit, generally speaking, the first $100.00 is made available immediately, the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day; however, there are some instances where the funds may be held for a longer period of time. For more information on what may cause a delay in funds availability, we invite you to check out the Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 40-44 you will find out Funds Availability policy.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly, and we'll be happy to help! Our Banking Specialists are always available at the number listed above.
We hope to hear from you soon, Deborah. Have a great day!
