Good evening and welcome to TD Helps, Tam! That's great that your husband wants to be a joint owner on your checking account. We'll be happy to provide some information on how to add him to your account.
Although you are unable to add another owner to your account via online or over the telephone, you can visit one of our many convenient locations during lobby hours to do so. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a Store near you. When you both decide to visit a Store, please have your husband bring a proper photo ID such as a driver's license, state ID and or a US passport so he can be verified. Once the information has been verified and added as a joint owner on your checking account.
Let us know if you have any additional questions, Tam and enjoy the rest of your night!
