Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Elaine. Welcome to the community.
Generally, in order to add a Power of Attorney to an existing TD Bank account, both parties (in your case will be your mother and you) must be visiting a TD Bank store together with your Power of Attorney form and your valid photo IDs. This way, both of you can sign the required maintenance form in order to complete your request.
If you are unable to do so together in person, your mother (the existing TD Bank Account holder) may reach out to her local TD Bank store or the TD location where her account was originally opened at to determine if there is another option to add you to her account as Power of Attorney without you being present. To find out TD store locations near your mother, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this provides some help. Let us know if you have any other questions.
