Thanks for stopping by TD Helps today, Rachel.
To send funds to another financial institution other than TD we have a couple different options for you.
To send a wire transfer to your brother, one option you could consider is visiting your local TD Bank location. The only information needed is the ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary’s (your brother’s) address and his account number. Check out http://bit.ly/1gBg5W3 for more information on what is needed to make your wire and what fees are incorporated.
Another option would be to make a person to person payment. TD Bank offers an online service called Popmoney to make transfers to someone that has an account at a different financial institution. To make a person to person payment you would have to enroll through your online banking account using the “Person-To-Person” tab. Once enrolled, all you would need is your brother’s mobile number (access to text) or email address and account number to send the transfer. Click on link for more details on person to person payments and to enroll http://bit.ly/QnlZAd.
Thanks again for writing in and enjoy the rest of your day!
