Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Starr. We'll be happy to help clear up some confusion regarding using your School ID for cashing checks.
If you are over the age of 18, and would like to cash a check without your parents, we do require a valid form of identification such as Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc. and Social Security number. However, if you are a minor and if a joint account was opened, acceptable forms of identification for minors includes; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card.
Feel free to reach out to your local TD Bank Store location for more information regarding acceptable forms of identification, Starr. You can find the Store nearest you and their hours by checking out http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps out, Starr. Have a great night!
