When you are a new account holder and your account has not yet been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After these 30 days, you can expect that your account will be provided the standard funds availability. Please see pages 38-41, where you can find our Funds Availability Policy specifically the Special Rules for New Accounts along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
