Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Natalie. Great question, and we'll be more than happy to provide you with all the options that you have.
If your Checking account currently has an overdrawn balance, and you have another active TD Deposit account, such as a Checking, Statement Savings or Money Market account, you may initiate an online transfer to pay your negative balance on your Checking account via your Online Banking.
If you are enrolled for Online Banking, you may first access your accounts from here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you are logged onto your accounts, please follow these steps to make this transfer:
1. Click on the “Transfers” tab, located on the top of your screen. 2. Enter the amount you wish to transfer in the box 3. Select the proper “TO” and “FROM” accounts 4. Select “Immediate Transfer” 5. Click on “Schedule Transfer” 6. Finally, click on “Complete Transfer"
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for your Personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://go.td.com/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s). After you log in, please follow the steps as mentioned above.
You may also contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to perform a transfer from another TD Bank account you may have with a positive balance, into your current negative balance account. You're also able to visit any TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this helps, Natalie, and please enjoy the rest of your day.
