Thanks for writing to us on TD Helps, Randy. We'll be delighted to assist you with your stop payment.
First and foremost, as you mention this is a reoccurring transaction, we always invite you to review this with the merchant processing the debit from your account to go over their ability to cancel it. This is most often the safest and best way to cancel a reoccurring transaction from your account. If the transaction is being processed using your debit card, this may be the only way to cancel it as we are unable to place stop payments on items purchased with your debit card.
If the transaction is coming out of your account using your Routing number and Account number, Stop Payments may be added to your account to avoid the transaction from debiting. To add a Stop Payment, you can contact us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Our Customer Service Representatives can go over your option to place a Stop Payment for the transaction. You can also stop by your TD Store where a Representative would be happy to assist you as well. For the nearest location please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. Keep in mind that certain ACH debits may be ineligible to be stopped and your Customer Service Representative would be happy to review this with you.
There may be a fee for adding a Stop Payment to your account. For more information please click: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know!
