Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Jack. We'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
At this time, in order to use a TD Visa Debit Card at locations worldwide, it must be linked to a primary checking account rather than a savings account. We apologize for any inconvenience.
If you would like to open a checking account with TD, we invite you to take a look at our checking options found here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd. You are also welcome to use our Checking Selector which will make a recommendation for you found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU.
When you are ready to open your account, you may do so online by selecting "Open Account" beneath the account of your choosing, calling us 24/7 by dialing 877-700-2913, or by visiting a TD Store. For Store hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. Whichever method you choose, you may request a Visa Debit Card during the account opening process.
We hope this helps, Jack and have a good night.
