Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Garry.
A Trust is governed by the terms of a written trust document, and the Trustee or Trustees are obliged to administer the trust in accordance with both the terms of the trust document and the law.
As all trustees are authorized signers on the account, it would be the trustee's responsibility to ensure that funds are being used in compliance with the terms of the trust.
We recommend reviewing the terms of these accounts with a banker at a TD Store location near you. Please see http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find your local Store and their lobby hours, or feel free to contact a Customer Service Representative 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000. If you would like, one of our Specialists can establish an appointment at your preferred TD Bank Store for you during your call.
We hope this helped address all of your concerns, Garry, and please enjoy the rest of your day.
