Hey Janet, thanks for making a stop at TD Helps with your inquiry. We'd be happy to help.
Since you are a TD Bank Customer, you may purchase a money order at any of our TD Bank Stores. To find TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.Please keep in mind, Money orders can be purchased for any amount up to $1000.00. If the amount you are looking to purchase exceeds the limit, you may wish to purchase an Official Check. An Official Check can be purchased for any amount and because it is subject to availability due to the amount requested, we recommend contacting your local TD Bank prior to visiting. For more information on the fee for Money Orders or Official Checks take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt (located under "Checks"). This link will also provide you with details on which accounts offer free Money Orders and Official Checks.
You may also wish to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd to view and compare each account TD Bank has to offer. If after reviewing those accounts and you would like to switch your account type, we can provide the different ways to do so. You may contact us at the number listed above and after account verification, our Specialists would be happy to put in that request for you. You could also send us a secure message via your Online Banking with this request.
If you have not enrolled, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
After you have enrolled and have logged in, to send a message, on the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. In this instance, please select the topic as "General Customer Service." Please provide the account number along with the new account type you would like.
If you are experiencing any difficulties enrolling for Online Banking, please call our Digital Banking Team, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at 1-800-493-7562. After account verification, our Specialist would be happy to help. As always, you are welcome to visit us during lobby hours for assistance.
We hope this helps, Janet. Let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great night.
