Good evening, Rose Marie and thank you for choosing TD Bank for your family's banking needs.
There're two options you may choose when scheduling recurring payments/transfers to your daughter and both options are available via our online banking.
If you are signed up for our Retail online banking, please log onto your account from here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. To schedule recurring payments, please follow the steps below after logged on to your account:
1. Click on the “Bill Pay” tab located at the top of your screen.
2. Click on the “Manage Your Bills” tab.
3. Select the appropriate biller from the “Biller Name” list.
4. Select the option “Add an automatic payment” from the “What would you like to do?” list.
5. Fill out all of the required information and then click on the “Set Up Payment” Button.
Another option is via our Person-to-Person Payment service. This service provides flexible ways to send and receive money to and from any individual's bank account within the United States. It is simple and secure with several delivery options.
In order to be eligible to use the Person-to-Person payment service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking and be using a TD Bank Checking or Money Market account for the transfer.
If you have met all the requirements listed above and are also enrolled for online banking, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the same link provided above, and follow the steps below in order to initiate a Person-to-Person payment:
- First, you must enroll in the service. To do so, you would select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen.
- Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you.
- Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process.
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note that the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking and wish to enroll for Online Banking for your Personal Checking account, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
