I have a TD Visa card and authorized a family member to be able to use it and had a card issued with her name on it. Is she as legally responsible for the payments as me or am I solely responsible for the payments?

Good afternoon, Erin.
This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to clear up any confusion.
Based on the information you have provided, it sounds as though you may have added someone as an authorized user to your TD Bank Credit Card. When an authorized user is added to an existing TD Bank Credit Card, while that use may receive their own card number, it's important to note that the transactions will be debited from the primary user's limit. Additionally, please also know that the primary user would be responsible for any payments that need to be made.
If you have any additional questions in regard to your authorized user, you're more than welcome to call and speak with one of our Credit Card Specialist. For your convenience, Specialists are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by simply dialing 888-561-8861.
We hope this clears up any confusion, Erin, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
