Hello, Jonson and thanks for reaching out to TD Helps today. We are always pleased to advise you about your account options.
If you have funds remaining in your account and have been unable to use them, a quick review of your account with a friendly Customer Service Representative can help determine why the account is blocked. At that time we may be able to reactivate your account right away, or we will provide you with some options to do so. Please call a Specialist directly 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 at your convenience for assistance. You can also send us a Secured Message once you log in to your Online Banking account; please start here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and visit the "Customer Service" tab after logging in. You can then click on the "Send a Message" link so that one of our Specialists can check your account for you.
Although we would like you to continue banking with us, we understand if you need to close your account. You can request to close your account and have any remaining funds sent to you by check. If that is your preference, please mail a written request with the following instructions:
- Your name
- Your account number(s)
- Your request to close the account(s)
- Your current address
- Your signature
For your security, please have the letter notarized. It can then be mailed to:
TD Bank, N.A
P.O. Box 1377
We hope this information is helpful, Jonson and please write again with any additional questions. Enjoy the rest of your day!
Megan K, Mount Laurel
