Welcome to the conversation Susan, we'd be more than happy to help!
There are two ways available that you can avoid the check image fee and we'd be happy to go over those options with you.
Once way you can avoid this fee is by enrolling in paperless statements. To enroll for paperless statements, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are not, you can do so for free at http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once you have access to your personal Online Banking, you can follow the steps below to help you go paperless:
1. Log in to your TD Bank Online Banking Account
2. Click the “Customer Service” tab
3. Select the link for “Online Statement Settings”
4. Select the “Online Statements” option for each of your accounts
5. Add the Email Address you wish to have statement alerts sent to
6. Review and accept the Online Paperless Statement Customer Agreement and Hardware and Software Requirements
7. Click the check boxes indicating you meet our system requirements and click “Save Changes.”
If you do not wish to enroll for paperless statements, that's okay! Your next option is to contact us directly to have the check images removed from your paper statements. Please call us at 888-751-9000 or feel free to visit us during lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. You could also send us a Secure Message via your TD Online Banking profile.
To send us a secure message, please log onto your TD Online Banking profile, and then select the "Send a secure message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center." You can also find the "Message Center" by clicking on the "Customer Service" tab at the top of the page.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to connect with us at the number provided above or visit us during lobby hours.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions.
