We recommending having your family member contact their financial institution to find the best option on sending funds to your TD Bank account.
You may also use our Person-to-Person feature to request money from your family member. They'll get notified and can pay with a few clicks. Money then goes into your account automatically.
To use this feature, you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website. This link will bring you directly to the log in page: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you’re logged in, you must enroll for Person-to-Person payments. To do so, you would select the tab that says “Person-to-Person Payments” at the top of your online banking screen. Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule Fees and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will ask you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to request money by clicking on "Request Money" and entering the requested information and the recipient will get a link to pay your request. You will need the recipient's email or mobile number. Once the request is processed, you should expect to receive the requested funds into your account in the next three business days.
This feature is available for most personal checking and money markets accounts. To use these services you must have an Online Banking profile with a U.S. address, a unique U.S. phone number, an active unique e-mail address, and a Social Security Number. Your eligible personal deposit account must be active and enabled for ACH transactions and Online Banking transfers. For more information, read the Terms & Conditions.
