Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Katherine. We understand your concern and appreciate you looking to TD Bank for your banking needs.
You are welcome to open an account with us. To view and compare our Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
A popular account for minors that you may want to check out is our Young Saver account – it offers a great option to start saving for minors, while allowing you full control over the account as a Guardian. There's no minimum balance to keep and no monthly maintenance fees while still a minor. We also recommend taking a look at: http://bit.ly/1pxm2Zo for more detailed information on this, and all of the other savings accounts available at TD Bank.
Please note; as you mentioned your son is a minor, we will require a joint account holder or a custodian on the account as well. Once you are ready to setup the new account, please use our Store locator here http://bit.ly/TDStores to find the TD Bank Store nearest to you. You'll just need to bring in your valid photo ID, such as your Driver's License and both of your Social Security numbers; you will not need to bring your son with you. Please note, your son will be listed as the minor on the account and you will be the custodian of the account.
Let us know should you have any other questions. Have a great one!
