We're excited to see a long time Customer writing in today, Jaymie! We'll be sure to give you clarification on how long it takes for your funds to be available.
Since you mentioned that your account has been opened for several years, typically the first $100 of a check deposit made at a TD Bank Store is made available immediately. After this, the remaining amount of your check deposit will be credited to your account on the following business day. A business day is any day besides Saturday, Sunday and Federal Holidays.
Additionally, any deposits made through Mobile Banking will not have the first $100 available on the same business day. Typically however, the full amount of your deposit will be made available the following business day after the date of your deposit. We invite you to visit: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF for more details about mobile deposits.
We also recommend that you take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement for any additional questions here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to your deposit.
If you would like, you may speak with one of our dedicated Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. They'll be happy to review your account or your deposit specifically with you. You may also visit us during lobby hours at any nearby TD Bank Store, at http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Let us know if you have any additional questions.
