Borrowing & Managing Your Credit
In reply to Thomas, Torrance
Thanks for connecting with us, Thomas and we're sorry to hear this. We can certainly point you in the right direction to resolve this.
The Federal Trade Commission provides this page: http://1.usa.gov/1f6utCg which lists the steps you'll want to take to dispute this error on your credit report. First, you'll want to report the incorrect info to the credit reporting company and information on how to do this is provided there.
The other step would be to report this error to us, TD Bank, and you may review the information listed here: http://bit.ly/1riK35l, to do so. Please be sure to follow all of the steps listed on this page, and for a credit card issued by Target, as we are the servicing bank please use the contact information in the Target Credit Card Dispute section.
You may also wish to see: http://bit.ly/1uLQxMu for our Frequently Asked Questions about this process.
For any questions you may have, reach out to us on 888-751-9000, 24/7.
We hope this helps and we wish you the best of luck.
