Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, John. We'll be glad to point you in the right direction for assistance.
To pay off a balance owed on a closed account, you may either speak with our Recovery Department Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM at 800-354-9769 or stop by a TD Store. To find a nearby TD location please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
While closed accounts are not able to be reopened, you may open a new account once the owed balance is resolved. We invite you to take a look at our current Checking and Savings options prior to your account opening. For information on the current Checking accounts TD Bank offers, please follow this link: http://bit.ly/UR7yr0. For a customized recommendation with our Checking Selector, answer the questions provided here: http://bit.ly/KmmHe7. If you are interested in Savings accounts with us, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1l6nLQ7. You can also receive a customized recommendation for our Savings accounts too! There are a few options available to open a new account. You may call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to open a new account. You may also open the account online directly by using the links listed above. As always you can visit a TD Store during lobby hours for more assistance. When opening a new account, it will be required to have a photo ID and your Social Security number.
We hope this is helpful, John and please take care.
