Thanks for making a stop at TD Helps this morning, Susmita.
As you do not have your passbook with you currently, you have the option of locating your account number via your TD Online Banking here: http://bit.ly/SMUhhl. If you're unable to view your passbook account online, we invite you to call our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for assistance. If by chance you'll be connecting with us from outside the US, please dial 856-751-9000 or 215-569-0518 via landline with an Operator's assistance.
You also have the option of visiting your local TD Bank Store for help. For hours and locations near you, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To make a deposit to your Passbook account, we invite you to visit us at any TD Store near you. If you are unable to visit us, that is ok. You have the option of purchasing a money order with the cash you have on hand. Once you have the money order, there are a couple options available for you to deposit the check into your account.
One option is to send your check via our Bank-by-Mail feature. Banking by mail is simple, and easy. All you would need to do is mail your deposit to the address below:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, Maine 04243
The P.O. Box is checked daily and transactions are posted the same day.
If you need to Fed-EX or UPS a mail in a Deposit to us, you can ship it to the address below:
TD Bank, Bank by Mail 140 Mill Street Lewiston ME 04243
Please keep in mind that the TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only")
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
We hope this helps and please let us know if you need anything else.

Divya, we're sorry to hear that you lost your passbook but are glad you've stopped by TD Helps.
