Welcome to TD Helps, Kelly. It'll be our pleasure to provide you with more information today. Now that your son is 18, he would be eligible for an account of his own. To close the existing account you share, we ask that both of you visit a TD Store with a photo ID. For a listing of TD locations please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores. While there, your son would be able to open a personal account, if he wishes. The only thing he would need with him, is his ID. For more information on the different types of Checking accounts that TD Bank offers take a look here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0. We also suggest looking at our Checking selector tool here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU, it will provide you with a personalized Checking account recommendation. You may also take a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM. If you son would like, he may also call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit http://bit.ly/1xPLzPk to open the account! We hope this helps, Kelly and have a wonderful weekend.
