We have saving ,checking and CD account , so we have barely to use the account and the bank have been charged me for the fee every month ,so we rather decide to end our account.

If your decision to close your accounts is due to monthly maintenance fees, we would like to let you know that at TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. If you wish to change your existing TD account to a different account type, you may call our Banking Specialists or send us a secure message via Online Banking. To connect with one of our Banking Specialists, you can call 888-751-9000 24/7 and upon verification, they will be able to assist you.
To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq . On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. When sending us the secure message, please be sure to provide us your account number and the account type you are requesting and we will be happy to process your request. If you have not enrolled, please call us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 to speak with our Digital Banking Specialists.

If you still wish to close your account, you can visit a TD Store during lobby hours or if your accounts are at a zero balance you may call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or send a secure message via Online Banking. If your accounts are not at zero balance, you may request to close your accounts at any of your local TD Bank store. When you visit a TD Store to request to close your account, all you need to bring with you is a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.). Please note, if there is a current balance in your account, please let the Specialists know. They will assist you with withdrawing the fund than assist with your initial request. Even though you have joint accounts with your husband; however, he is not required to visit the Store with you for closing your joint accounts.
