Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Francis. We'd be happy to help point you in the right direction for details regarding the Saving Certificate account books you've recently located.
You're right about Boston Federal Savings Bank – it was acquired by TD Bank in 2005. If you've located documents that are more than 7 years old we’d like to advise you that an account is considered abandoned/unclaimed if the Customer has not made a deposit, withdrawal, or transfer from their account within the past 3-5 years (depending on the state) and may be escheated to the State.
We encourage you to connect with our Abandoned Property Department at 800-281-0025 for additional assistance. Our Specialists are available Monday thru Friday, 8AM-5PM.
Additionally, you're looking for a list for an unclaimed account, please check out: http://1.usa.gov/1qtMcdv for more details.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a good night.
