We're sorry to hear that you've lost your passbook, Kasia. We'd be happy to help.
While the passbook is generally required for any transactions to be conducted on that type of account, we can still help you in any of our Stores with valid photo ID. We should be able to complete your transaction as well as replace your lost passbook. To find a TD Bank Store near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
If you believe you may have lost your passbook outside of your home, or there is the possibility that someone could gain access to it, we want to recommend the option of restricting your account and opening a new savings account. If a restriction is placed on your account, no transactions can be processed on your account without your approval. To discuss placing this restriction, please contact our Fraud Resolution Team at 1-800-893-8554. Representatives are available 7 days a week from 7AM to Midnight. A representative in that department will fully review the fraud process, as well as the next steps for you in obtaining a new account. We can also assist you with a restriction in any of our Stores.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores.
We hope you have a good day, Kasia.
