If you'd like to verify the status of the account that your check is drawn on, you can call one of our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000, and we'll be glad to do so. Kindly keep in mind that TD Bank cannot verify if a specific amount available in the account or not unless you're listed as an account signer.
Typically, we'd recommend you to visit a TD Bank Store to deposit or cash the check. As we see that you're writing in from Honolulu, we understand you may not be able to do so at this time. In this case, if possible we'd recommend that the person writing the check verify the funds for you by contacting a Banking Specialist at the above number with you on the line.
If this isn't a possibility, we encourage you to speak with your local financial institution regarding a deposit of the check and their returned check policies, including any fees they may assess.
