I recently started in a new position with a small company. I received a check from my boss for $500.00, I would like to cash it at a branch but it looks like a starter check. Will I be able to cash it if I dont have an account with TD Bank?

That's a great question, Jennifer. We'll be happy to provide you with more details on cashing a TD check.
Whether the check you received is a starter check or not, you will be able to cash it at any TD Store, as long as it is drawn from a TD Bank account. We do require you to have a valid photo ID (Driver's License, State issued ID, Military ID etc.) with you. There is also a $7.00 fee, per check, applied for the check cashing services. However, this fee will be waived if you become a TD Bank Customer. Please note; fees are subject to change.
We hope this helps, Jennifer. Have a fantastic day.
