I have sent several emails trying to close my account - you are not responding - why?

First, we'd like to let you know that we are committed to your satisfaction as a Customer. If you have any questions or concerns about your banking experiences, we invite you to discuss them with us at a TD Store. Please find your closest Store and lobby hours here: http://go.td.com/1WxWpIB.
If you still choose to close your account and if it is a Personal account with a remaining balance, we'd recommend visiting any TD Bank Store near you to withdraw the funds and request that the account be closed. Please visit the above link to find a convenient location for you.
If the balance in your account is already zero, or you have a remaining TD Bank deposit account that funds can be transferred to, you may also call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Or, you're welcome to send a Secure Message via your Online Banking account by logging it at http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and clicking the Customer Service tab. You'll find a link to Send a Message there, where you can enter your request. Please be sure to specify the account number you wish to close if you choose this method.
Please note that if you'd like to close a Business account, this must be completed at any TD Bank Store location. And if you'd prefer to close a loan or line of credit, you're welcome to contact a Financial Solutions Group Specialist 24/7 at 800-937-5020, or visit the TD Bank location nearest you.
