Thanks for stopping by TD Helps, Hilary! We'll be glad to provide the information that you seek.
There are a few options available for you to check your account balances. Your first option is to enroll for Online Banking by using the Self-Service feature. To start the enrollment process, you will need your TD ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, email address and your Social Security number and click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY, which will take you to the "Online Banking Sign Up" Page . Please select "Personal "from the drop down box and select "Submit". First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
Once you've enrolled for Online Banking via www.tdbank.com, you may also check your balance by using TD Bank Mobile App. To download, please visit: http://bit.ly/1opBqUt to input your mobile phone for a text message of the mobile App link. Additionally, you can download this App by visiting the App Store (for IPhone & IPad), Google Play (for Android devices) or App World (For Blackberry).
If you do not have an ATM/Visa Debit card or run into any problems, please reach out to our 24/7 dedicated Digital Banking Specialists directly at 800-493-7562. They will be willing to assist you with making the account visible immediately, after account authentication. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will have immediate access to your account. You may also visit us during lobby hours at any TD Store location for further assistance. For a list of hours and locations, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note if this is in regards to a Young Savers Account, only the custodian listed will have the ability to enroll for Online Banking.
If you have a business account and would like to enroll for TD Bank BusinessDirect, and you have your ATM/debit card, please follow the link above and choose Business from the drop down box. After you select the link provided above, please choose "Business" from the drop down box and click on "Continue." Please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, your business name, and your e-mail address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 2 business days that contains your initial User ID and password. If you do not have an ATM/debit card for your business, please visit your local TD Bank Store for further assistance.
Your other option to check your balance is to contact our automated system, also known as the Interactive Voice Response (IVR), by dialing 1-800-YES-2000 (1-800-937-2000). You will need your account number, which can be found on your statements and for checking account, you may also locate the account number at the bottom of your checks. Once you verify your account thru the IVR system, you will be able to retrieve account information or you could call at us 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a live Banking Specialist; who are available 24/7 for your convenience!
Additionally, if you have a TD ATM/Visa Debit Card, you could stop by any ATM to check your balance. Please note, if you visit a non-TD Bank ATM, there may be fees applied, for more information, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
