Thanks for your interest in an account with TD Bank, Jean! We'd be glad to help.
Please know that though TD Bank and TD Ameritrade share the same TD Shield, we are only affiliates. Because of this, our financial institutions are unable to share personal and account information.
If you'd still like to open an account, we recommend taking a look at the accounts we have to offer. You are able to take a look at checking accounts here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu and savings accounts here: https://go.td.com/2dIcnAw.
If you're having trouble choosing an account, you can receive a custom recommendation here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E.
Once you're ready to open an account, you are able to do so online by selecting "Open Account," by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Please know regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
Keep in mind that though we may be unable to link your TD Ameritrade account to your new TD Bank account, you're still able to transfer between our two entities. Feel free to learn about our transfer options here: https://go.td.com/2uoSCGk.
We hope this information helps, Jean, and have a lovely day!
