Thank you for visiting TD Helps today, Carol. We will be glad to offer some suggestions.
If you have previously provided this merchant with your TD Checking account and routing number, or your TD Visa debit card numbers, you may reach out to your payee directly to determine if you can cancel this payment with them. If you're unable to cancel this payment with your payee directly, or you have initiated this payment by using our Bill Pay service provided via our Online Banking site, you may connect with our Banking Specialists directly for additional assistance. Please feel free to call 888-751-9000, 24/7 to speak with one of our Banking Specialists. After account verification they'd be more than happy to review your payment with you and assist you with your stop payment request. Also, you may visit any TD Bank Store during lobby hours to have your payment reviewed and canceled in person. For a listing of TD Bank Stores location and hours near you, please see here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Also, if you are enrolled for online banking, you may send a secure message using www.tdbank.com. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center." If you have not enrolled, please call us 24/7 at the number listed above to speak with our Banking Specialists. If you are enrolled for our BusinessDirect online banking, you may use this link to logon http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8 and send a secure message. If you choose to communicate with us via online secure messages, please be sure to include the detailed information in your message, such as the name of the merchant, the date and amount of the recent charge from them.
Please note; fees may apply for this service. For more information on the fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We hope you find our answers helpful, Carol and please don’t hesitate to return to TD Helps if you have any further questions.
