Welcome to TD Helps, Demetres. We'd be happy help!
Your debit card has the ability to be linked to up to five checking account and five savings accounts at one time. Regardless of how many accounts are linked to a debit card at one time, the account designated as the primary account will always be the one that transactions are deducted from. If you are unsure as to which account is listed as your primary, there are a few ways to find out.
You may always give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Our Representatives will be able to assist you in determining which account is listed as your primary account. If you prefer to speak with someone in person, you may visit a TD Store during lobby hours for help. For Store hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are enrolled in Online Banking, you have the ability to send us a secure message for specifics about your debit card. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq . On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.”
If you have not enrolled and would like to, you may do so anytime by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security number and email address. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Next, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After you complete the steps, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. If you have any trouble enrolling or have any additional questions, please contact us 24/7 at the number mentioned above.
We hope this helps, Demetres and have a great day.
