It's good to hear from you this morning, Allie, and we appreciate you bringing your question to TD Helps.
Here at TD Bank, when you cash a check against your deposit account, in the event that the check is returned for any reason, the amount of the check will then be debited from your account. If the funds are not available in your account at that time, it's important to note that your account may then become overdrawn. Additionally, you may also be assessed a fee for the returned check.
If you'd like, you're welcome to check out our Fee Schedule here: https://go.td.com/2lbbfGg for more information. You may also review our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/2nf0JAI. On page 6, you can find more information about our check cashing policy in the 'Cashing of Checks' section.
If you would prefer to review your concerns with a Banking Specialist, we're here to help. Specialists can be reached by dialing 1-888-751-9000, and for your convenience, are here to assist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may also visit your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Thanks again for joining us, Allie.
