I opened up an accoaccount with this bank on 10/14/14 and I just deposit my 1st check using the machine on 10/24/14 2weeks later and I wanted to know how long do it take for my check to clear being that I'm new to this bank

Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Michelle. We'd be happy to review when your check deposit will clear.
Usually, when you deposit a check with a Teller, the first $100 is be made available immediately. The rest of the funds are generally credited to your account on the following business day.
Please note that as a new account holder, if your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, your check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes.
Additionally, if you're a new account holder, check deposits made at a TD Bank ATM may have the same hold placed as above; and please keep in mind that the first $100 of your ATM deposits may not be available immediately for the first 90 days of your account.
Please note, deposits made before 8:00 pm on a business day are considered deposits made on that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. However, if you make a deposit with a Teller or ATM after 8:00 pm, or on a non-business day, we will consider that the deposit was made on the following business day. For example, if you made an ATM deposit on Saturday, that deposit will be considered Monday's deposit and will post to your account Tuesday.
