I got it about two hours ago and it just got declined. How long does it take to work? And is my pin the same as the old one?

When you receive a debit card at a TD Bank Store, the debit card should be active immediately. During your visit to obtain a new debit you should have keyed in a PIN for your new debit card.

As we would like to assist you directly, unfortunately, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum. As the debit card may be defective, we recommend visiting a TD Bank Store near you for assistance. TD Bank Store locations can be found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. You may also contact us by telephone, 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and we'll mail you a new debit card.
If it's easier for you, an alternative option would be for you to send a Secure Message through online banking. If you're already enrolled, you may send us a secure message to request an increase by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. After you log in, please find the Customer Service tab and use the Send a Message link.
If you're not already enrolled for Online Banking for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM or Debit Card number, your Social Security number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s). If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Upon proper account verification, we'd be happy to help get you started.
Just in case you have a business account and would like to in TD Bank BusinessDirect and you have your debit card, follow this link: http://bit.ly/1dl2HX6. Once you’re at the “Sign Up for TD Bank BusinessDirect” page, please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, the business name, and your e-mail address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 2 business days that contains your User ID and password. If you have any questions when trying to enroll you may contact Small Business at 800-493-7562, option 2. You may also choose to enroll immediately by visiting a TD Store near you.
