In reply to William, Phila.
Thanks for opening a new account with TD Bank, William! We understand it can be frustrating when experiencing difficulties online, we'd like to offer some help.
Since you've forgotten your Online Banking Password, your first option would be going through the self-service feature on your Online Banking. Please follow this link: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq to go to the logon page and then click on the “Trouble Logging In” link located under the Password field. This will allow you to reset your password in the comfort of your own home! There are 4 steps you will need to follow. Step 1 is selecting the type of account you have for your online access. Step 2 and step 3, you will be asked to answer selected security questions that only you should know the answers to. And finally step 4 will then ask you to create a new password.
Just some helpful hints when creating your new password: use combinations of numbers, letters, and special characters, but no spaces. Your password should be unique. And try avoiding using names, dates and numbers tied to your identity (such as birthdays, family name, pets, etc…).
If you continue to have issues, feel free to contact us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000. After account verification, we would be happy to help reset your credentials and get you back up and running for your Online Banking. Also, you can visit us at any local TD Bank Store, during lobby hours. For lobby hours and locations, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please understand that we would like to assist you directly, unfortunately, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum.
If this is regarding a TD BusinessDirect account, please call our Small Business Team at 800-493-7562, option 2.
We hope this information helps, William. Enjoy the rest of your day!
