Good morning, Mary! We appreciate you opening a new account with us, it's our pleasure to review deposit information with you.
Once your account is opened, please be assured that you're able to make a deposit to your account in any amount that you choose.
Usually, when you deposit a check with a Teller, the first $100 should be made available immediately. The rest of the funds are generally credited to your account on the following business day.
Please note that as a new account holder, if your account has not yet been open for 30 consecutive days, your check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes.
Because there are other exceptions that may also cause delays in funds availability, such as larger deposits, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-42 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope this is helpful information, Mary! Thank you again for your business and please let us know how else we can help out. Have a wonderful day.
