Thanks for writing to us all the way from Dallas, Jeff! We'd be happy to help.
When making a deposit with a Teller, at one of our TD Store locations, the first $100 is made available immediately. For new account holders that have not been open for 30 consecutive days, Check Deposits can be held for 7-10 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100 be made available at the time of deposit but the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day.
Deposits made at a TD Bank ATM before 8:00 PM on a business day are considered deposits made on that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If you make a deposit at an ATM before 8 PM on a business day that we are open, we will consider that to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit at an ATM after 8 PM, or on a day we are not open, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day. Accounts that are less than 90 days old will generally see availability of funds the next business day.
If you reside in Dallas, we do provide easy ways to bank with us conveniently! Feel free to Fed-EX or UPS a mail in a Deposit, which can be shipped to the address below:
Bank by Mail
140 Mill Street
Lewiston ME 04243
Otherwise, you can mail your deposit to: TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, ME 04243.
Like any other deposits, a few simple guidelines apply:
Cash should not be sent through the mail
Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
Do not staple transactions
We also offer Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit services. TD Bank Mobile Deposit is available for most iPhone and Android devices and to Customers of at least 90 days or longer with an active Checking, Savings or Money Market account.
