Thanks for joining us today, Renny. Welcome to the TD Family!
We'd like to take this time to inform you that TD Bank does not accept transfers from Western Union. However, we do accept wire transfers through the Federal Reserve. Please review the information below on how to receive a wire transfer.
If the funds are being sent in foreign currency, please provide the following information to the sending bank:
Correspondent Bank SWIFT Code: TDOMCATTTOR; Correspondent Bank: The Toronto Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2; Beneficiary Bank SWIFT Code: NRTHUS33XXX; Beneficiary Bank: TD Bank N.A., 6000 Atrium Way, Mt. Laurel, NJ, USA 08054
In Favor of: TD Customer's Account Number; TD Customer's Full Name; TD Customer's Address: (Please include City, State and Country)
However, if the funds are being sent in U.S. Dollars, please instead provide the following information:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware; ABA: 0311-0126-6; TD Customer's Account Number; TD Customer's Full Name; TD Customer's Address: (Please include City, State and Country)
In some cases, please be aware that the Financial Institution sending the wire to TD Bank may not be able to use an ABA number for a wire transfer. If they are requiring you to provide a BIC/SWIFT code in order to send a transfer (in U.S. currency), then they should use the following information instead:
Wire to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A.; Swift Code: NRTHUS33XXX; the Bank Address you may use can be: TD BANK N.A., 6000 Atrium Way, Mt. Laurel, NJ, USA 08054; TD Customer's Account Number; TD Customer's Full Name; TD Customer's Address: (Please include City, State and Country)
Additionally, we strongly recommend confirming with the Financial Institution sending the wire transfer to determine if they require you to provide an ABA#/Routing#, or a BIC/SWIFT Code to complete the transfer.
Please know that we will post all incoming wires on the banking day they are received. Also, we do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and we return them to the sender. For more info on any fees for receiving a wire transfer at TD Bank, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Additionally, now that your account is open, you may mail in your initial or any deposit thereafter to the following address:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, ME 04243
We'd also like to share a few tips with you that could help before mailing your deposit.
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
We hope this helps, Renny. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Welcome back, Renny. We'd be glad to clarify.
As Yen mentioned above, TD Bank does not accept ACH transfers from Western Union. These transfers are typically returned to the sender. In this case your originating account. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Feel free to use the alternatives that Yen mentioned in her reply above such as wire transfers or our Bank by Mail service.
We hope this clears things up and have a good day.

We're sorry for any confusion, Renny.
At this time, TD Bank does not accept international ACH transfers including those sent via Western Union.
To make your initial deposit, we ask that you utilize our Bank by Mail service or send an international wire from your Canadian institution.
We hope this covers things, Renny. Take care.
