Hi Natasha! Thanks for reaching out to us at TD Helps today.
We see you're writing in to us from Ottawa – hello from the U.S.! If you are looking to cash your insurance check at a TD Canada Trust Branch, we'd like to help direct you.
You can start by posing your question to our friends at TD Helps in Canada, by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1QBOF4U. If you'd like to speak with a representative at TD Canada Trust directly, you can call their 24/7 Customer Service line at 866-222-3456. We also want to provide you with a link to all of TD Canada Trust's contact info. You can find that by clicking here: https://go.td.com/2tp27BR.
We're certain they'll be able to answer any question you may have about cashing your check.
If this is in regard to cashing a check here at TD Bank in the United States, please know that if the check is not made payable to your sister she would not be able to cash it for you. However, she may have ability to deposit into your account for you. If you're able to provide her with the signed check and a deposit slip, she should be able to make that deposit without issue.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope you're having a great day, Natasha!
