Thanks for writing in this evening, Ebony and sorry for any confusion with your account! We'll be happy to clear this up for you.
It sounds like you recently opened a new account with us and if so, welcome and we appreciate your business! Rest assured that if you have been issued a TD Bank ATM or Visa Debit card, you have also been assigned an account number. When opening a new account, if you did so online or in person, your new account number would have been provided to you during that process. If you didn’t obtain it at that time or if you opened your account by phone, don't worry as we'll be happy to list some alternative options for finding it.
If you have your Online Banking account set up already, an easy way to locate your account number is to log in. This can be done on our full site at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you don't have an online account established yet, you can call one of our friendly Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 so they can assist you with enrollment during your call, after account verification. Once you log in, you will be viewing the Accounts tab, which immediately lists any accounts you have and their full account numbers.
If your account has been open for a month or more, you should have received a statement and your account number can be found there, in the top right corner. Or, if you are able to visit a local TD Store, you can also obtain your account number. For a listing of Store locations and hours please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this explains it a bit for you, Ebony! Any questions please let us know and have a great weekend.
