Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Joan. Welcome to the TD Family, we'd be happy to help.
We want to inform you that when opening an account online, you do not need a User ID; however, once your new account is active and funded, a User Name is needed if you wish to view your new account information online at www.tdbank.com.
To enroll for TD Online Banking, if you have already received your TD Debit/ATM Card and you know your account number, you may enroll by using our Self-Service feature here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
If you do not have a card or don't know your account number, no worries! Please visit us during lobby hours for additional help. To locate the nearest TD store, please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, Joan. Have a wonderful day!
