In order to close your account, the balance must be zero. If your account balance is zero already, please contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at the telephone number listed below and one of our Banking Specialists can assist in closing your account. If your balance is more than zero dollars, there are a few ways to bring the balance to zero.
If you have a debit card or ATM card, you can make a purchase for the remaining amount in your account. If you have a personal check handy, you can write a check for the remaining amount as well. Once the balance reaches zero, you may contact our Customer Service line at the telephone number below and one of our Specialists can close the account for you or you can send a secured message through online banking requesting the closure. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the Customer Service tab and then select Send A Message
Please note that if a transaction does post to your account within 72 hours of the account closure, the account may remain open. We encourage you to ensure that all transactions are final on the account before requesting the closure of your account.
