Thank you for allowing us to assist you at TD Helps today, Jacqueline. We would hate to lose you as a customer; however, we understand and we are glad to provide you some options to retrieve your funds. If you have a personal account and are looking to close your account, you may request to close your account and have the remaining funds in your account be sent to you by check. You can mail a written request with the following instructions. ▪Your name ▪Your account number(s) ▪Your request to close the account(s) ▪Your current address ▪Your signature For your security, please have the letter notarized. It can then be mailed to: TD Bank, N.A P.O. Box 1377 Lewiston, Maine 04243-1377 If you have an ATM or Visa debit card for your account, we can also visit a local ATM to withdraw funds from your account. If your account is a checking account with a TD Visa debit card, you can also opt to visit a bank in England to request a cash advance of your funds. Once you withdrawal the remaining funds and your balance shows zero dollars, you may then wish to contact us at from outside the US at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. After account verification, our Banking Specialists would be happy to close the account for you via the telephone. We hope we have provided the information you were looking for, Jacqueline. Visit us again anytime!
