We offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. Please note; each account has its own features and benefits. Some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. The cost of the checks is determined by the Checking account type, first order or re-order and the quantity of the checks. Some accounts do offer free checks; some accounts offer your first set of checks for free while other accounts offer a discounted price on your first order.

Once you have decided the type of the account you wish to open and if you happen to be in the United States, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank Store to speak with a Banking Specialist regarding new account options to determine what product type fits you the best. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
If you are a Non-US Resident and do not have SSN at this present time, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you and stop by your local TD Bank Store during our lobby hours to set up your new account. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
