Thank you for your interest in banking with TD, Mike. We'd be glad to help you do so!
You are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or if you're planning a trip to the East Coast, you are able to open an account at any TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores you'd like to visit please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Before your call or visit, we recommend taking a look at the accounts we have to offer. For more information on the different types of Checking Accounts that TD Bank offers take a look here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0. We also suggest looking at our Checking Selector Tool here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU, it will provide you with a personalized Checking Account recommendation.
You should also take a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each Savings Account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector Tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Please know that regardless of the method you choose to open your account, you will need a valid photo I.D. handy (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and your Social Security Number.
We'd also like to let you know that after account opening, you will be able to access funds from Canadian ATMs however TD Canada Trust and TD Bank are affiliates only. Though we share the same TD Shield, their Representatives will not be able to discuss the specifics of your new accounts.
We hope to hear from you soon, Mike and have a good day.
